Thanks for reading my blog. Both of you. I hope you find some points of humor or entertainment in them, and if you don't, well...email me some! I am always looking for more. By the way, my boss just told me that I'm not sharing enough information about myself. He wants a bio. So, in the interest of any of your curiosity and for a little more job security, here I go:
Hobbies: Radio. Although I am seeking another to supplement.
What I Do In My Free Time: WHAT?

Favorite job: This one! Love playing your favorite songs.
Someone once told me that working out is FUN!
Here's elyptical candid photo from my 14-year-old daughter.
So, what's a sweaty DJ to do?? Go to Jared and ask him...He just told me "eat fresh." What a company guy.
Hey, shouldn't we be judging a gumbo cook off or something??
Sarah is single. She reported to me yesterday that her timing is WAY off. When she was married, most of the people she knew were single. Now that's she single, most of the folks she knows now are married. Even on her trip to Destin last week had her surrounded by married people. As far as the umbrellas stretched, there were rings and kids. On the beach. At the condo. At just about every SINGLE restaurant. (That's what SHE said) And Sarah doesn't do the bar thing.
Interesting fact here is this: Sarah not really looking for a boyfriend, and she is actually enjoying her singleness. So, in the interest to encourage single ladies everywhere (at least in her immediate sphere of influence), she wants you to know some advantages to a single summer...and here they are!
Your cell phone doesn't control you. Your days -- and nights -- are your own! There's no need to check in or be attached to your phone waiting to check in with your significant other. Your life is your own. And that's pretty empowering.
Traveling solo. You can go anywhere you want, Mapquest whatever you want, and check out the sights that interest you. The process can be a little overwhelming, but once you embrace the fact that you can get around on your own, there's nothing more uplifting for your confidence.
Music festival freedom. Music festival romances are magic. If you've been on one of these adventures, you know what I'm talking about. You're entranced in the music. You're feeling open and welcoming. And out of nowhere on your right appears the most amazing person you've ever seen who lives across the country. Welcome to whirlwind romance!
Butterflies in your belly. That feeling is totally indescribable. And you can have it as much as you want! There's nothing like meeting someone for the first time.
Girls-only grilling. No more domineering males to take over the grill. Try getting the girls together for a day full of sunshine, BBQ and liquid refreshment. On second thought, maybe the BBQ should come first.
The end of wedding season. Line up those groomsmen and take your pick. Who says the rules of Wedding Crashers apply just for dudes?
