I think you should know right out of the shoot that Matt is a newly ordained minister. And when you see some of his comments below, you may figure out that I changed his name to protect the brutally honest.
Since it won't be too much longer before Matt conducts his first ceremony, he doesn't seem too nervous about that. It's that pre-marriage counseling that creates some anxiety. After all, the very basis of marriage emphasizes the importance of love. And love-more often that not-is subject to individual interpretation. A young man may think his bride to be is smokin' hot and gives good quality kissing and cuddle time. Unfortunately, there is a better than average chance the lady won't think of her fella in the same manner. Once this revelation if offered by a counseled couple, Matt will offer one word of advice: "RUN!"
True love is not an emotion. It is a choice. Love is the glue that holds everything together after both people change over the years. Not just in looks, but in thought and opinions. It's a life-long process of flexibility and acceptance of two best friends who enjoy just hanging out with each other. The big pastor picture here for us? Marriage should be a non-stop love affair that's about cleaving to one another. Through the good and the bad. And, of course being able to cleave whenever we feel like it.
