Exact amount of Exercise You Need to Live Longer

Exercising to keep death away

A team of researchers study more than 140,000 people, aged 35-70 from 17 different countries, and found the minimum amount of exercise we need to get every week in order to live longer. It comes out to 150 minutes per week or around 22 minutes a day. That will give us a 20% lower risk of heart disease. If you are up for a  lot of exercise, as in 750 minutes (almost an hour and ten minutes daily), you can  reduces your risk of death by an additional 20%.

The best part is they found everyday activities, like house hold chores and briskly walking your dog, are as beneficial as organized workouts.
